Completed this drawing on Sketchup for some friends to use to submit to the city for the new build. I had them send me the land plot, dimensions, and material preferences and from there I created a multi-view drawing that they were able to successfully submit to the city, I've been updated that their build is going great and plans have been thoroughly used. I hope to get my AutoCad Certificate to further my knowledge.

My mom saw this lawn feature on Pinterest and decided that it would be a new addition to her new property. Below is the photo of the idea, the reality and then the dream come true. We had to start by pulling all the weeds and there were weeds up to my shoulders. After we pulled the weeds, we flattened the ground a bit, and laid garden fabric followed by mulch. We placed some gravel where the fountain would go, put in the fire ring purchased from Home Depot followed by cement blocks to lift up the bucket that will actually be the fountain. The fire rings was filled with dirt and together my mom and I planted the flowers she picked up and filled the bucket with water. The final touch was the solar fountain pump I got off Amazon. The birds very quickly began playing in the fountain.

This was a busy few days. My niece moved in a boy howdy, I put her to work helping me. Together we prepared the backyard and laid new sod. The next few days we constructed a wood fence/gate to fill the gap between the new garage and the old fence. The last project we did in this week was put up some horizontal wood slats under the deck to conceal some ugly tires that are being stored there.

Today I made a drop-down mitre saw table and I was pretty happy with the results...my neighbours may have heard my little happy dance/song. I hinged the legs and the table so it all folds nicely against the wall. I also wanted to add in some side supports when cutting long pieces, but I had to make them hinge so I could fold the table so I chiseled out the hinge spot.
